Sleep timer

1. CD or radio playback can be set to switch off automatically after a

preset time has elapsed. With the unit in either CD or radio mode,

press the Sleep button. The display will show '90' minutes as the

default setting.

2. Use the Tuning Up or Tuning Down buttons to increase or decrease

the sleep time as follows:

80 30

70 20

60 10

50 2

3. The CD or radio will switch off after the sleep time has elapsed.

4. To cancel the sleep function before the preset time has expired, press

the Stop/Off button.

5. To check the remaining sleep time, press the Sleep button. The time

remaining will appear in the display for a few seconds..

6. To amend the sleep time after it has been set, press the Sleep

button and press the Tuning Up or Tuning down buttons to

increase or decrease the time.
